This sound sort of came from all of the different music i listen to. It's like a mix of Queen, Slipknot, Aerosmith, and a myriad of artists blended into one beat. I started with a simple four beat kick with a clap here and their, then i through in an eigth note hi hat. From their i cloned it a couple of times and made some pretty cool beats. I tried to keep it a simple but cool sounding beat and made each pattern pretty similar to each other so they would blend together. Then to make it flow even better i added some fills which did a great job transitioning into the next pattern so HELP YOURSELF!!!

I am a big fan of the echo sounds you used throughout the loop. In the beginning they are used very well creating a good buildup for the rest of the loop. The beat of the based drum is also very cool and creates a good groove. The way the high hat is used sparingly sounds good with the way you used the bass drum. Nice job.

ReplyDeleteI also enjoy the echo on the clap, it goes very well with the bass. I like the variations of the beats and the added snare drum. All of the incorporated sounds mix together nicely. Overall, I like the sound and it was a great job.
